Zinc Melting Furnace

Zinc Melting Furnaces are built for the unique thermal characteristics of zinc and zinc alloys. Zinc’s low melting point (420°C) and narrow working range demand precise control to avoid oxide formation and alloy degradation. Optimised burner and insulation systems maintain temperature within ±3°C. Bath design promotes natural convection for consistent temperature, while cover configuration reduces surface oxidation and metal loss. Constructed with cast iron or mild steel pots for easy replacement with minimal downtime. Heating options include gas-fired immersion tube burners for high thermal efficiency or electric resistance elements for clean operation. Capacities from 100 kg to 10,000 kg zinc in stationary or tilting configurations. Suitable for hot-chamber die casting, continuous galvanizing, and zinc alloy production. Options include automatic temperature control with datalogging, motorised covers, and dross recovery systems.
