Vacuum Nitriding Furnace

Advanced vacuum nitriding furnaces for enhanced surface hardness and wear resistance with minimal distortion.

Key Features

  • Enhanced surface hardness
  • Minimal distortion
  • Precise case depth control
Vacuum Nitriding Furnace

Vacuum Nitriding Furnaces deliver case-hardening with precise control over nitrogen potential, temperature, and process pressure. The vacuum environment ensures clean, oxide-free surfaces and eliminates post-treatment cleaning. Case depths from 0.1 mm to 0.8 mm are achieved with repeatable accuracy, and distortion is minimal compared to conventional gas nitriding — critical for finished or near-finished components. Working temperatures from 400°C to 650°C with uniformity of ±5°C across the work zone. Suitable for tool steels (H13, D2, A2), high-speed steels (M2, M42), and components requiring dimensional stability and wear resistance — including extrusion dies, injection mould tooling, gears, crankshafts, and automotive powertrain parts. Available in single-chamber and dual-chamber configurations with optional rapid gas quenching for integrated processing cycles.
