Bogie Hearth Furnace

Bogie Hearth Furnaces are car-bottom furnaces designed for heat treatment of large and small castings, dies, and metal parts. Loading occurs outside the furnace — the bogie rolls in on rails or steel wheels with gear-hack drive, making charging and discharging simple. Motorised or manual bogie transfer with pneumatic or hydraulic doors at both ends. Multiple bogie option reduces cycle time — one loads while another is in the furnace. Temperatures from 800°C to 1100°C achieved by heating elements mounted on support tubes for enhanced radiation and element life. Products are placed on SiC tiles, which resist wear and provide high thermal conductivity for uniform heat transfer. Available in electric and gas-fired configurations with multiple zone temperature control. Options include programmable controllers, atmosphere sealing, and custom chamber sizing.
